DESCRIPTION:Spend time in nature and develop conservation skills while protecting wildlife in the Waitākere Ranges. \nYou will protect our treasured wildlife in Ark in the Park\, New Zealand’s largest open mainland sanctuary. \nJoin us at 8:30am to get involved in conservation activities such as pest control through baiting and biodiversity monitoring. \nSimply bring sturdy footwear\, long-sleeved gear for tramping\, a backpack and the attitude to get outdoors. \nThe terrain in the Ark can be challenging\, so a good level of fitness is required for these events. \nPlease email arkinthepark@forestandbird.org.nz to enquire about activities that are more accessible. \nWe can’t wait to have you join us in exploring nature while meaningfully contributing to protecting biodiversity!
