About this Event

Learn to Create Non-Toxic Earth Pigment Paints and Pastels

Join practicing eco-artist Holly Clarke for this one-day workshop exploring the art of making eco-friendly materials.

Discover techniques for crafting your own high-quality pastels and paints using natural earth pigments sourced from France and Italy. Free from additives and solvents, these Gold Certified Green pigments meet archival standards, ensuring they last for thousands of years without fading or degrading.

The workshop begins with creating water-based pastels in a variety of hues by hand, followed by making pigment paints using non-toxic, water-based mediums, which you’ll store in aluminium tubes.

Enjoy a relaxed, hands-on atmosphere with Holly’s expert guidance and feedback. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of sustainable pigments and how to incorporate them into your art practice.

This event is accessible for people who are deaf or hearing-impaired.

Cost: $150.00
