DESCRIPTION:POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER WARNINGS – NEW DATE: 23RD APRIL\n\n\nJoin us for eel information and spotlighting along Taitaia Stream in Clevedon\, discover what nocturnal creatures call this stream home!\n\n\n\nTaitaia Stream Guided Evening Walk and Eel Information Evening \nJoin us for an evening torch lit walk of your local Taitaia Stream that flows through Clevedon Scenic Reserve. We should see native fish and eels that come alive at night\, plus freshwater bugs\, wētā\, beautiful autumn fungi\, ruru (morepork) \nHear from Mountains to Sea Conservation Trust about the importance of eels in our streams\, as well as amazing facts about their lifecycle through fun\, family friendly eel activities. \nBring a torch\, closed shoes and warm clothes. Participants will need to be able to walk 800m across uneven ground with unformed track in places\, and manage stairs/ slopes.
