Become an Auckland Parks Junior Ranger and dive into fun\, hands-on activities in nature! \nWho can join:\nJunior Ranger walks are perfect for children ages 6-12 years. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (18+ years old). \nWhat to expect:\nEach Junior Ranger walk offers unique activities based on the park location and group size. Activities may include: \n\nWeed Warriors and Pest Detectives\nBug Hunts\nNature Treasure Hunts\nSecrets of Our Native Plants\n\nRegistration is Required:\nPlease arrive 5 minutes early\, fully geared up and ready to explore! We will email any updates or cancellations due to adverse weather. \nImportant Reminder:\nParents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children during the Junior Ranger Walk. \nWhat to Bring: \n\nRanger Gear: Dress for the elements with closed-toe footwear\, a sun-smart hat\, and sunscreen.\nRanger Fuel: Bring a reusable water bottle and snacks to keep you energized.\nRanger Time: Arrive early and be ready to start on time – our Rangers are busy protecting the environment\, so let’s not keep them waiting!\n\nWe look forward to seeing you there as you take on the challenge of becoming an official Junior Ranger!
