About this Event
Roll up your sleeves and help us keep this beautiful space thriving! Whether you’re an avid nature lover or looking for a satisfying half-days work, this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in environmental care and meet like-minded individuals.
We’ll kick off the day with a thorough cleanup of the reserve, tackling litter and removing invasive plants to protect native wildlife. Afterward, we’ll sample the water quality and examine aquatic invertebrates as fun for the whole family and to ensure the stream stays healthy for future generations.
As a thank you for your hard work, we’ll end the day with a delicious BBQ, where you can relax, refuel, and chat with fellow volunteers.
Bring along sturdy shoes, and your enthusiasm! We will provide gardening gloves, sunblock and snacks. If you’ve got any gardening tools or litter-picking gear, please bring them along too.
Don’t miss out on the chance to make a tangible difference in your local community. Connect with your people at this exciting event and help us preserve the beauty of Trimdon Reserve for all to enjoy.
