DESCRIPTION:Sorry\, this event is currently sold out. You can register to join the waitlist  \nJoin Nat Rose Te Hei (Te Whānau ā Apanui\, Ngāti Porou\, Tainui\, Tūwharetoa) in this fun beginners’ weaving workshop at the start of the school holidays. \nParticipants will learn to weave a kono (a small container). These are ideal for holding harvested kai and other small items. \nWe will also learn appropriate tikanga when harvesting and weaving harakeke. \n\nPlease bring scissors.\nFor ages 10+ to adult\n\nGrateful for support from the Creative Communities Scheme.
