DESCRIPTION:Due to the weather this event has been postponed to 26 April. \nCome and join Bike Eastern Suburbs and the Love Your Path team to learn ways to get involved in maintaining your own community pathways.\nIt will be a hands-on session where you can talk to the organisers of this local initiative and get inspiration on how you beautify your own neighbourhood with some guerrilla gardening. \nYou will be shown what we have done and the lessons learned along the way\, how to source plants\, mulch and how to construct a watering station. You are also welcome to grab some tools and work alongside our team of friendly volunteers. \nThe 75 and 76 buses are nearby. Walk up from the Glenn Innes train station. Cycle the shared path from Tāmaki Drive \nTiming for this event – \n9.00 am Introduction and briefing. \n9.20 Walking tour of the path showing what has been achieved and how we went about it. \n9.50 You can either head home or pitch in and lend a hand. \n11.00 Finish up with an ice block or a drink.
