About this Event
Join Us at the Māngere Bridge Repair Café! Got something broken that you think can be fixed? Bring your cherished household items back to life with help from our amazing volunteers! Whether it’s sewing, darning, electrical repairs, woodworking, metalwork, chair repairs, blade sharpening, bicycle help, laptop & cell phone advice, book mending, or general household fixes, we’re here to assist and share our knowledge. If we can’t fix it, we’ll provide our best advice on what to do next.
Enjoy the warm and welcoming atmosphere or our library while you wait—sip on a cuppa, enjoy a bikkie, chat with your neighbours and watch the magic of repairs in action. It’s a fantastic way to save money, reduce waste, and give your items a new lease on life.
How It Works:
💡 One item per person at a time (unless time permits).
