South Auckland Moth Plant Competition – Manurewa
About this Event
Moth plant spreads quickly and kills our native plants. You can help control this pest plant by organising your community group, whaanau, school, ECE or sports club to collect as many moth plant pods and seedlings as possible. The team who collects the most, wins!
A great way to build team spirit, help the environment and win some money!
- Our first collection skip will be on Wednesday 12th March from 2-6pm at Ambury Farm – Māngere Bridge.
- Our next collection bin is this Tuesday 25th March from 2-6pm outside Accelerating Aotearoa 40 Lovegrove Cresent Ōtara.
The competition runs from 3 March to 9 May, and registrations for participating teams can be made right up until the end of the competition. As part of EcoFest, the competition is listed from 22 March to 22 April, aligning with the festival’s duration.
