SUMMARY:Waiheke Island Community Beach Clean-Up
DESCRIPTION:Join Keep Waiheke Island Beautiful and the Waiheke Marine Project for a community beach clean-up. With nesting season over\, it’s a great time to support dotterels and other native wildlife by clearing rubbish from the high-tide areas of our precious bays. \nBring whānau and friends and connect with others who care about protecting Waiheke’s shores. Participants needing transport can meet at the Waiheke Sustainability Centre for a lift\, or head directly to the beach clean-up location as listed. \nLight refreshments will be provided to celebrate the collective effort. Please register to receive updates\, particularly if changes are required due to weather. \nThis event is a collaborative effort between Keep Waiheke Island Beautiful and the Waiheke Marine Project\, supported by the Waiheke Resources Trust.
