SUMMARY:Worm Farm Workshop - Waterview
DESCRIPTION:Join Wei\, one of our friendly Compost Collective facilitators\, will run this fun\, interactive worm farming workshop for kids and whānau. \nDive into the fascinating world of tiger worms and discover how these tiny composting heroes turn food scraps into fertiliser for your plants. There’ll be plenty of wiggly worm fun and interactive activities for the whole whānau!\n\nTo help you on your way\, all confirmed workshop participants get a 50% discount voucher to order a compost system through our website and we’ll deliver it straight to your door. Plus\, you’ll also receive a free rat trap to help keep pests under control. \nThis workshop is designed for children aged 5 and above and their caregivers. Please register one ticket per child and one ticket per adult (with your email address to enable you receive the discount voucher). Each child must be accompanied by one adult. \nPlease bring a few small cut pieces of fruit peels (no citrus) or vegetable peels (no onion and chilly please) if you’d like to feed the worms. \nThis workshop is proudly supported by Auckland Council\, The Trusts\, The Waterview Community & Enviro Hub\, and brought to you by the Compost Collective.
