Ark in the Park

About this Event

Spend time in nature and develop conservation skills while protecting wildlife in the Waitākere Ranges.

You will protect our treasured wildlife in Ark in the Park, New Zealand’s largest open mainland sanctuary.

Join us at 8:30am to get involved in conservation activities such as pest control through baiting and biodiversity monitoring.

Simply bring sturdy footwear, long-sleeved gear for tramping, a backpack and the attitude to get outdoors.

The terrain in the Ark can be challenging, so a good level of fitness is required for these events.
