Coastal Clean Up

About this Event

The annual coastal clean up around the inner harbour is back from 2026! Time to get the gumboots out, grab a pair of gloves and get out there and pull out some rubbish from the estuaries, mudflats and tidal spaces. Let’s reduce waste flowing out to the oceans and polluting our blue spaces.

A great chance to get active, get outside and do something positive for the environment and serve your local community.

This isn’t your typical beach clean up – don’t expect any white sand!

All of the venues will be operating at the same time so book your spot at the most convenient location for you. Given the conditions we are working in, we suggest children over 10 years old only and any child under the age of 14 MUST be accompanied by an adult (1 adult for up to 4 children).

We’ll provide buckets and gloves but if you can bring your own that really helps. Free sausage sizzle at each location as well at the end of the event.
