Kia ora
We’re thrilled that you’re interested in/or are hosting an event as part of EcoFest 2026, a month-long celebration – 22 March – 22 April (Earth Day), of sustainability and community across Tāmaki Makaurau. Before registering events, we recommend reading the Event Host Support Pack which includes helpful information, tips, and resources to guide you through event listing and hosting processes.

How to Submit Your Event

Always complete a separate registration form for each unique event you plan to host. If your event will run on multiple dates during EcoFest, you only need to submit the form once.

Once your form is submitted, you receive an automatic confirmation email. Your regional EcoFest Support Hub — either EcoMatters, Kaipātiki Project, Beautification Trust, or Waiheke Resources Trust — review your details and get in touch if any clarifications are needed. Approved events are published in the EcoFest 2026 online programme at ecofest.org.nz. Need to get in touch with your hub? Find their contact details here.

Event Selection

EcoFest curates a programme that is diverse, innovative, and inspiring. Final event selections are made at the discretion of the EcoFest organising team to ensure a balanced, engaging festival experience for all.
