Balcony to Bay: Gardening our City Centre – postponed

Due to the weather forecast, this event has been postponed to Saturday 9 May 12:30pm to 3pm.

Beginning at the Āiotanga Community Space in the heritage Emily Apartments Building, we will do a gentle loop through the historic Emily Reserve to the University of Auckland Bee Sanctuary in Eden Crescent, and around through the lush vegetation of the Law School and arriving back around to Aaiotanga Community Space.

Each part of our journey will highlight for us the plants, insects, birdlife and landscape features of our city, as well as the surprising opportunities there are to transform unexpected spaces in-between, for life and well being in the city.

Please note: This route is not easy for wheelchair or walker use because of steep inclines along the way. The path can support use of electric mobility scooters.
