Book Launch Celebration – Seeking Will, Rapua a Wil

The Light Library is delighted to share our next book. Join us in celebrating the launch of Seeking Will, Rapua a Will—a bilingual picture book about a boy and his dog caught in a storm, finding their way back through resilience, connection, and play. It’s a story about how we navigate life’s storms together.

This special event honours the 60+ tamariki and whānau who co-created the book through painting and storytelling workshops held at the Arataki Visitor Centre, led by writer Emma Hinton and illustrator Nicky Hartley. Each collaborator will be gifted their own copy of the book during a ceremony at the event.

The day will include a warm welcome and gifting ceremony, fun, creative activities for all ages, a sneak peek at Seeking Our Way activations happening throughout EcoFest and shared kai to finish.
