Butterflies in Blockhouse Bay – Earth Day Celebration

Come to the Blockhouse Bay Recreational Reserve Butterfly Habitat for fun activities such as treasure hunts, craft making, tagging demonstration and more. Hopefully you will see live butterflies and caterpillars up close and be able to learn more about them.

The lucky winner of the “Butterflies in Blockhouse Bay” contest will also be chosen, so be sure to bring your completed entry form along (see Butterflies in Blockhouse Bay – Treasure Hunt for more information ).

New event access due to roadworks
WaterCare has currently closed Rathlin Street due to major works. The butterfly habitat is in the reserve between Terry, Whitney and Rathlin Streets. There is parking at the Blockhouse Bay Bowling Club off Terry St where we will be doing art projects under cover. It’s a short walk from there to the butterfly habitat.
