Whānau Fun at Opanuku Stream – Conservation Hīkoi

Join us for a morning of discovery and connection with nature, in partnership as part of the MPHS Community Trust!

This family-friendly conservation hīkoi is a great way to explore the beautiful stream and walkway, learn about native ecosystems, and find out how we can all be awesome kaiawhina (advocates) of the whenua.

We’ll walk the land, spot invasive species, and learn how to protect our natural taonga (treasures)—all while having fun outdoors with whānau and friends. Perfect for curious kids, nature lovers, and anyone keen to make a difference!
