About this Event

Join us to play the CONSERVATION game – a fun way to explore how we can care for the earth, connect with nature and help conserve the planet’s resources.  It’s not too late!

Take small steps to save the planet and earn points.  Make a mess, waste energy or water and lose points. I CARE cards help you do good things. Suitable for 6 – 106-year-olds

Play the CONSERVATION game and hear the story of this special game made in NZ 50 years ago by Bob Reynolds. A great way to finish off the school holidays and enjoy one of the last days of ECOFEST!

WHAT WILL HAPPEN?

How to play will be explained.

Teams of 2-4 players will be provided with EARTHCARE/CONSERVATION games to play.

Teams will be guided through the first 10 turns together to get the hang of it.

Teams can choose to compete for ‘first to reach their goal’ (relative to the number of players) or just play for fun.

If you would like to see the ‘how to play’ video first or read the instructions, they are on the EARTHCARE game website.

Bring along a friend and low-waste snacks and drinks, e.g., fruit and a refillable water bottle, to enjoy during the break. Join other Zero Waste Heroes.  All food scraps will be composted on-site.

Cost: Free
