Eco Volunteering 101 

About this Event

Want to volunteer in Kaipātiki’s beautiful natural spaces? Want to meet like-minded people in your neighbourhood? Not sure where you fit in or how to get started?   

This 101 will cover the variety of eco volunteering opportunities available, how to get started, what you might be doing and what you need to know.  

You’ll get to meet several Pest Free Kaipātiki (PFK) staff members and long-time volunteers and hear about their areas of interest and experience, as well as a tour of PFK’s headquarters, Tool Shed and new gardens.  

We will end the session with a pizza lunch, though this may be just the beginning of your volunteer journey!
