About this Event
Are you interested in growing more of your own food for your whanau in your suburban section?
Come and be inspired by this beautiful, mature food forest in St. Johns! Learn about fertile soil building, fruit trees, keeping chickens, growing herbs for teas, year-round vegetable growing, and permaculture.
This workshop has space for up to 12 participants, so please register in advance to secure a spot.
Parking on neighbourhood streets is available. Bus no. 75 or 76 will take you within a 10-minute walk of St. John’s Food Forest. The Glen Innes transport hub is also conveniently located within a 10-minute walk.
