Franklin Food Forest is a hands-on educational space where the community can experience regenerative planting principles, featuring four distinct food forest areas — urban food forest (showing how productive planting can fit into a small backyard), a lifestyle-scale forest (demonstrating what can grow on a home block), a commercial-scale forest (exploring companion planting and diverse crop systems), and a shelter belt forest (illustrating how multifunctional plantings can protect land while producing food).
