Love Your Local Bush? Come Lend a Hand at Outlook Reserve!

Join the Greenhithe Community Trust on a Saturday morning between 9:00–11:00am, for a volunteer session at Outlook Reserve, Greenhithe, a hidden forest gully with a small stream, as we regenerate the space into a thriving Pūriri ecosystem (WF7). The area can flood if not maintained, so regular restoration makes a real difference for both the habitat and the waterway.

This is a relaxed, hands‑on morning where you can:

• Learn to identify and manage common pest plants
• Help with native planting
• Support local biodiversity through pest plant and animal control

Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or brand new to conservation, you’re welcome, and we provide tools.

Bring along:

• Sturdy shoes or boots
• Gloves (if you have them)
• Water bottle
• A friend
• Plenty of enthusiasm
