About this Event
Come along to a free guided walk to learn more about the ecological value of Macleans Park and how you can help protect the wildlife within it.
Macleans Park is one of the most significant ecological areas in the Howick Local Board. To find out about the birds, plants and insects within, and how you can help to enhance its value, come along to our free guided walk.
This event is a great opportunity to connect with nature and understand more about the wildlife right on our doorstep.

Spaces are limited so please RSVP for further details
- Children under 15 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- Wear sturdy footwear – be aware there are plenty of stairs!
- Bring adequate food, water and sunscreen
- The event will go ahead in most weather, except in extreme conditions.
- Paths may be uneven or have tree roots — please take care as you walk.
Guides and volunteers will be on hand to assist and keep the group together.
