Have Your Say Waitākere Ranges
About this Event
Te Poari ā-Rohe o Waitākere Ranges / the Waitākere Ranges Local Board want to hear from you!
From 28 February to 28 March, Aucklanders will have the opportunity to Have their Say on Auckland Council’s Long Term Plan 2024–2034, or 10-year budget. The Long-Term Plan sets out the council’s projects and budget for the next decade and will include funding for initiatives and local community services in the Waitākere Ranges Local Board area.
To support this kaupapa, the Waitākere Ranges Local Board will be hosting a Hearing where you will have an opportunity to address elected members on our next proposed Long-Term Plan 2024-2034. There will be an opportunity for you to ask pātai/questions, to share feedback about what is important to you, and to let us know what you think we should work on.
Bookings are essential: to ensure everyone has a chance to have their say, we are requiring everyone to book in. Speaking slots are approximately 5 minutes each (3 minutes with 2 minutes for question time).
Contact [email protected] to book your session time. You will be asked to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your allocated session.
From resilience to stormwater, and greenfield developments to critical infrastructure, our environment needs your vision and voice! So come along and engage with us in a two-way kōrero/ conversation.
Planning for the long term takes a group effort, so get involved and Have Your Say on our Long-Term Plan for 2024-2034.
