The Mai i Kurawaka Reclaiming our Menstrual Mātauranga wānanga invites participants to:

• Reconnect with the traditional Māori worldview of ikura (menstruation);

• Explore its whakapapa, sacredness, and connection to atua wāhine;

• Introduce reusable ikura products and explore their environmental benefits;

• Support whānau to reclaim and normalise conversations and practices around ikura.

This event is going to be held in the Helen Clark Lounge.
