Make a Native Serving Tray in Two weeks

About this Event

This workshop runs over two sessions, so you can slow down and work with native timber properly. Good wood takes time, care, and patience.

In session one, you’ll learn drop saw basics and safety, get to know your timber, and work through measuring, cutting, and shaping your pieces.

Session two is about bringing it all together. You’ll build your serving tray, sand it smooth, and finish it with oil to protect the timber and highlight its natural grain.

A practical, beginner-friendly workshop where you’ll learn core woodworking skills and take home a beautiful native timber serving tray made by you.
