Join Ali for this Love Food Hate Waste Pickling and Preserving workshop. Learn how to make the most of the abundance of fruit and vegetables available at this time of year, and stock up your pantry with healthy, delicious food to enjoy all year round.

Bring along any fruit or produce you have access to, plus clean jars with lids, and you’ll go home with preserves made on the day and the skills to keep pickling and preserving in your own kitchen and community.

This workshop is part of EcoFest 2026, a month-long celebration of Tāmaki Makaurau’s unique environment and the ways we care for it.
