About this Event

Join us in this urban oasis alongside a beautiful stream that flows out to the upper harbour.  We will be clearing weeds and supporting the native plants to thrive by making compost from the weeds we clear and giving them room to grow.

There will be tasks for all ages and abilities and experience so come along knowing you will help make a difference.  We do have some more strenuous opportunities, and the ground may be wet and slippery as some areas are on a slope, so please come along wearing sturdy shoes and outdoor clothes suitable for the weather.

We’ll provide tools, equipment and gloves and even a sweet treat or two, so we just need you to come along and lend us a hand.

This group meets monthly on the 2nd Sunday of every month so if this date doesn’t work for you, you are welcome to join us any time of the year.
