About this Event

Save money and the planet by making reusable sanitary pads!

Using a generously shared pattern from Luna Wolf, this workshop is for people who menstruate or who need protection from minor leaks. Directions will be provided by library staff who have made these before.

This workshop is suitable for ages 16+, medium to advanced experience. You will sew either by hand or by machine.

Bringing your own supplies is highly preferable; a limited number of pantyliner kits will be available for a small cost. If you have a sewing machine, please bring it along, as we will have a limited number of machines available on the day.

Requirements:

  • Experience with sewing, either by hand or with a machine.
  • Fabrics (see details below) can be recycled items.
  • Fasteners of choice (snaps, buttons, Velcro).
  • Scissors, threads, pins, washable marker/chalk.
