Rotoroa Island Treasure Hunt

Love hide and seek? Head to Rotoroa Island for a team-based treasure hunt and a chance to explore the island’s natural beauty.
This fun, family-friendly event (also great for groups of friends) will take you across the island to discover native plants and wildlife, stunning landscapes, and local heritage. Rotoroa is a pest-free island owned by The Salvation Army and cared for by the Rotoroa Island Trust.
The day wraps up with a barbecue at Home Bay, including sausages and cold drinks.
Please bring good walking shoes, lunch, water, and swimwear. As this is an outdoor event it may be cancelled due to bad weather.
To help protect the island, a pack-in, pack-out policy applies (please take all rubbish with you). All bags must be fully enclosed and shoes cleaned before arrival.

Numbers are limited to 40 per event. For catering purposes, please register by emailing [email protected] and include your preferred date, the number of people attending, and a contact phone number or email address. Please book travel with Explore (ferry), or make your own way by private boat.
