About this Event

Scrap Fabric to Gift Cards invites you to turn leftover fabric into thoughtful, one-of-a-kind cards. Join us to explore how small pieces of textile waste can become meaningful, creative gifts with a personal touch. No prior craft experience is needed. This workshop is relaxed, welcoming, and suitable for all skill levels.

We’ll begin by sorting through a range of scrap fabrics and learning simple ways to layer, cut, and attach them to card bases. You’ll experiment with texture, colour, and pattern to design cards that feel special and intentional. Along the way, we’ll share ideas, techniques, and inspiration while enjoying a warm cup of tea and good conversation.

This session is all about making the most of what we already have. It’s perfect if you enjoy hands-on making, want to reduce waste, or simply love giving handmade gifts. Everything you need will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring along any small fabric scraps you’d like to use.
