About this Event
Join Ali, one of our friendly Compost Collective facilitators, for this fun, hands-on worm farming workshop for kids and whānau.
Dive into the fascinating world of tiger worms and discover how these tiny composting heroes turn food scraps into fertiliser for your plants. There’ll be plenty of wiggly worm fun and hands-on activities for the whole whānau! Perfect for kids aged 3 to 9.
To help you on your way, all confirmed workshop participants get a 50% discount voucher to order a compost system through our website and we’ll deliver it straight to your door. Plus, you’ll also receive a free rat trap to help keep pests under control!
This workshop is designed for children and their caregivers. Please register one ticket per child. Each child must be accompanied by at least one adult.
This workshop is part of EcoFest 2026, a month-long celebration of Tāmaki Makaurau’s unique environment and the ways we care for it.
This workshop is proudly supported by Auckland Council and brought to you by the Compost Collective.
