Have you recently moved to Waiheke and want to learn how to live more sustainably while connecting with your community?

Join us at the Waiheke Sustainability Centre for a fabulous summer evening soiree filled with delicious dishes, fun activities, and spot prizes—designed to help you get to know your new home and discover what the island has to offer.

Love Food Hate Waste and Compost Collective will have stalls sharing simple, practical tips to help you make the most of your food—from smart storage and using leftovers creatively to composting your food scraps at home. You can ask questions, pick up ideas to use straight away, and connect with others learning to live sustainably on the island while getting involved in local community projects.

WRT’s Kai team will provide nibbles made from rescued food through the Kai Conscious project. We kindly ask you to bring a dish or dessert to share for the potluck, labeling any potential allergens. You’re also welcome to BYO drinks or alcohol.
