Watch skilled woodturners in action, try your hand and pyrography and purchase high-quality woodwork.

The West Auckland Woodturners Guild is a charity committed to preserving, teaching and promoting heritage woodworking techniques.

Established in 1983 and based in Sunnyvale, we are one of four woodturning guilds in the Auckland region. Our members primarily use wood that would have ended up as firewood, mulched or dumped to create used items and works of art.

Using pyrography (the technique of engraving and shading using heat), you are invited to create a personalised name tag or coaster.

Please note that an age limit of 10+years with parental supervision will apply to this activity.

Enclosed shoes must be worn.
