About this Event
WilderFest is an annual celebration of the incredible efforts of local community groups and organisations dedicated to restoring Waiheke Island’s biodiversity. This whānau-friendly event is proudly brought to you by the Waiheke Collective.
The day promises a vibrant mix of educational stalls, inspiring talks, and hands-on activities, including workshops led by groups like the Waiheke Marine Project, Te Korowai o Waiheke, and the Waiheke Resources Trust. Plus, enjoy delicious offerings from local kai trucks and stalls—there’s something for everyone!

- Pets of Waiheke and Animal Management will host a series of talks and a Q&A on responsible pet ownership tailored to island living.
- Ethos Environmental will showcase real-world examples of how cutting-edge Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and data integrations drive better conservation outcomes for our local ecosystems.
