About this Event

Sorry this event was cancelled due to the weather.

Join long-standing Kaipātiki Project volunteer, and bird enthusiast, Isabel Morris at the EcoHub this EcoFest.

An opportunity to introduce yourself to, or extend your knowledge of native birds seen regularly in the Kaipātiki region. Through short slideshow presentations and audio clips, you’ll get introduced to the world of local native birds so that next time you go for a walk at a local reserve, or see a new bird in your garden, you’ll have a deeper understanding of what you’re witnessing.

Time to chat and share experiences afterwards over a cuppa at the EcoHub and, of course, feel free to head out into Eskdale Reserve yourself afterwards and see if you can spot any of the birds you learnt about!

This event is part of the Kaipātiki Project Speaker Series: Stories of Our Native Species
