About this Event
Join Ali at St Heliers Community Library, and be guided through the basics of Bokashi composting. Come along to find out how this easy system works, how to get started, and what makes Bokashi perfect for turning your food scraps into goodness for your garden.
To help you on your way, all confirmed workshop participants get a 50% discount voucher to order a compost system through our website and we’ll deliver it straight to your door. Plus, you’ll also receive a free rat trap to help keep pests under control!
This workshop is part of EcoFest 2026, a month-long celebration of Tāmaki Makaurau’s unique environment and the ways we care for it.
This workshop is proudly supported by Auckland Council and brought to you by the Compost Collective.
