About this Event

Come and join Kaipātiki Project for a hands-on, behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to nurture and protect our local nature reserves!

Sign up to spend the morning outdoors, breathing in fresh forest air, benefitting from some light exercise, enjoying conversations with like-minded people, and appreciating a deep connection to nature!

Guided by our expert ecologist, join some of our regular volunteer champions with the kind of mahi that helps create resilient ecosystems, fast! Our regeneration work contributes to climate resilience and mitigation by capturing carbon, reducing flood risk, and nurturing biodiverse life above land and below water — our impact covers five UN-SDG’s. Join us for hands-on climate action!

Booking for this event is essential, as spaces are limited for health and safety reasons.

Did you know that spending time in nature has proven to increase wellbeing? Studies have shown that being in nature, and especially being active or getting your hands dirty can massively reduce stress and anxiety, improve overall health and brain function, and lead to increased happiness! These happy health effects can be significantly amplified when the experience is also sociable, so tell your friends to come along, or make new friends with our group of regular local volunteers!
