About this Event
Ever wondered what happens to recyclable materials? Want to know how Reclaim processes the recyclables that we collect?
Join the experts for an educational tour of our Auckland facilities!
We’ll cover:
• the importance of source separation to maximise recycling outcomes
• common contaminants of key recycling streams
• easy procurement changes people and businesses can make to maximise waste minimisation and recycling efforts
You’ll finally get a chance to ask the experts those “burning” recycling questions.
Remember to bring closed-toe shoes for your safety!
We hope you leave with a deeper understanding of how commercial recycling works, the best practices for minimising waste, and the fascinating materials that make up the things we use every day. Together, we can make a positive impact on our planet!
Cost: $25
