About this Event

Permaculture is a sustainable design system that mimics natural ecosystems, promoting regenerative practices for agriculture, housing, and community development.

Diversity or uniformity? What do you want to have for your garden?

The way we do gardening reflects our lifestyle. Based on our communities, we can achieve sustainability by adopting a wise lifestyle. Otherwise, we will trigger a systematic collapse of the earth’s ecosystem and destroy the future of our children and grandchildren.

In this workshop, we will discuss the following topics:
  1. Diversity vs uniformity, the concept
  2. Embedded systems
  3. Functional parts
  4. Plant selection
  5. Appearance
  6. Maintenance

This talk will be hosted by sustainability specialist Ben Zhang, who is a conservation educator and passionate gardener.
