Join this Stream Monitoring event with Kaipātiki Project, and become an agent of change for good, caring for our precious awa!

This unique public session focuses on stream monitoring and collecting stream samples.

Sign up to spend the morning outdoors, breathing in fresh forest air, learning all about healthy streams, enjoying conversations with like-minded people, and appreciating a deep connection to nature!

Guided by our expert ecologist, these interactive sessions focus on stream monitoring and sample collection, empowering you to contribute to real-world citizen science. Together, we’ll assess stream health by exploring:

  • Water quality
  • Stream life
  • Habitat conditions

Whether you’re a nature lover, student or community member, your participation truly helps protect and restore our local ecosystems. No prior experience needed—just curiosity and care for te taiao.

Come along, learn, connect, and make a difference—one stream at a time.
