A community day celebrating Waiheke’s youngest adventurers!

🎯 Purpose

To promote Waiheke Island Playcentre and bring together the island’s early childhood and child-focused community, showcasing all the opportunities available for families with young children and an opportunity to fundraise.

The Little Island Carnival is a family-friendly market and carnival day celebrating play, learning, and connection on Waiheke Island.

Local early childhood centres and child-focused community groups — like the Sea Scouts, Toy Library, and others — will each have a stall or activity, creating a lively hub of games, treats, and discovery for families with children under six.

• 🎠 Mini Carnival Zone — fun games, prizes, and activities

• 🎨 Kids Zone — face painting, crafts, and sensory play

This is a Neighbours Aoteaora event funded by the Waiheke Local Board; its aim is to spark new neighbourhood connections and create a flourishing, inclusive and resilient Waiheke together.
