Kia ora koutou! Event registrations for EcoFest 2027 are now open.
EcoFest returns from 22 March to 22 April (Earth Day) 2027: a month-long celebration of sustainability and community across Tāmaki Makaurau. If you are an individual, a community or volunteer group, a non-profit or a local business with an idea that helps people discover, learn or take action for te taiao, we would love you to be part of it. Registering your event is free.
How to register
- Read the Event Host Support Pack for tips, resources and what to expect as a host.
- Fill in the event registration form. Complete one form for each unique event. If your event runs on several dates, one form is enough.
- Your EcoFest Support Hub will check the details, get in touch if anything needs clarifying, and publish approved events in the online programme.
Five event themes
- Waka Hourua / Clean Transport & Energy (now including clean energy)
- Kīnaki Kai Reka / Foodies’ Fix
- Te Whaihanga / Makers’ Mayhem
- Torohē Nuku / Explore Nature
- Mauri Noho / Conscious Living
